The Dayton Chapter of the American Institute of Architects is pleased to announce its 2026 Architecture Scholarship recipients. AIA Dayton awarded $5,000 in scholarship to four outstanding students from the Dayton/Miami Valley Region.
- Brianna Dowd $2,000 - Graduated from Centerville High School
- Maya Patel $1,500 - Graduated from the Miami Valley School (She opted to not share a picture)
- Elizabeth Stouder $750 - Graduated from Chaminade-Julienne High School
- Elena George $750 - Graduated from Butler High School
The AIA Dayton Architecture Scholarship Fund of The Dayton Foundation was established in 1997 to encourage and assist students graduating or graduated from high schools in the Dayton/Miami Valley Region to pursue a degree in architecture at a college or university with an NAAB accredited architecture program.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of their academic achievements, artistic talent, and an essay about their educational and career goals as they relate to the field of Architecture. The scholarships are funded through the generous donations of AIA Dayton Members, contributions from AIA Dayton, and through a matching funds grant from the American Institute of Architects. The fund is advised by AIA Dayton, a chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
