The American Institute of Architects is a professional membership organization serving architects in the United States. Members must be registered architects; associate members must be working toward registration. Related professions may join as Allied Members/Professional Affiliates.

Currently, there are more than 92,000 members throughout the United States. AIA Dayton was formed in 1899, and now has over 200 members, including AIA, Associates, Emeritus and Professional Affiliate members.

AIA Dayton has a very active membership, which participates in the monthly meetings and seminars. The Dayton Chapter provides many activities throughout the year; including our AIA Design Awards, monthly Continuing Education opportunities, Student Design Competition, the Annual Golf Outing and much more.

AIA Dayton services members in the counties of Montgomery, Greene, Miami, Darke, Preble, Clark, Champaign, Logan and Shelby counties.
